OOC PERMISSIONS

Player: Smurf

Preferred Contact: You will have the most luck with [plurk.com profile] smurfsmuggler, but I am also on Discord at smurfsmuggler#1966.

Usual tagging times/pace: EST, and I typically tag at least once a day to once every other day.

Backtagging: Totally open to it!

Fourthwalling policy: I'd prefer to avoid it.

Action vs. Prose: I am fine with either, but prose makes it easier to phone tag.

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Don't worry about me with this stuff. Go wild.

IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: I am comfortable writing out really brutal and graphic violence, but there should probably be some OOC planning if we want to go there.

Mental Information: Justice is a weird case because it's implied that spirits don't really make mental 'noise', meaning they can't be passively mind-read. If a telepath puts the effort into hacking into his mind anyway, they'll probably get just an overwhelming NEED to uphold justice from him, as well as vague notions of his intentions and feelings about things. Justice is a creature literally created from thoughts and feelings about justice, so it's hard to read his distinct thoughts, even if he has them.

Physical Affection: OOCly, I'm A-OK with it. ICly, Justice is awkward about touch because he's not used to it. He'll accept it from people he is friendly with and might even like it, but with people he doesn't know well, he will awkwardly tolerate it while he figures out how he feels about it.

IC Triggers: Justice has two major triggers: injustice and implications that he may be a demon. The former is 'biological', so to speak, since he's literally a manifestation of the drive to fight injustice. Being faced with injustices he can't do anything about will drive him up a wall at best, corrupt him at worst. The latter is much more personal, as he knows that spirits can become demons and he isn't really sure how it happens, so he becomes very defensive about it. Don't worry about asking permission before you bring up any of this.

Relationships: I am open to all relationships, platonic and romantic! Justice, as of my apping, is not at a point in his arc where he can really have a romantic relationship, but that can change depending on his development and who in particular might want a relationship with him.

Are you interested in participating in the game's smut opt-ins? I am definitely interested, although I may be conservative with Justice at least in the beginning of his tenure at the game. He should probably get comfortable with touching people before he tries having sex with them.

If yes, please state your preferences: I am open to M/F, M/M, and F/F. (Justice has the ability to change his form, which includes taking on the body of a woman if he decides to.) I am comfortable with writing smut with characters that are about 20 and up. I'd be willing to consider people on the upper ends of teenagerhood (like 17, 18, 19) depending on the character. As for kinks, I am relatively vanilla, but let's chat if you want to include something.

POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS

Justice is a spirit, which in Dragon Age terms, means that he's a creature created from the thoughts and values of mortals. This means he has a lot of crazy power to mess with mortal heads. Tell me what you're okay with, what you're not, what Justice would sense if applicable, and so on. If you don't fill anything out, I'll just assume that you're not okay with powers being used on your characters and Justice's powers are mysteriously disrupted when he's with your character.

In order, from most likely for Justice to actually do to least:

Sense lies - Justice, psychic powers aside, is basically a living lie detector when his power is at full strength. Are you okay with this?

Read surface-level thoughts - Justice can sense what a character is thinking of at the moment, and he can't turn it off. If you're okay with this, then please let me know and include some stuff that Justice might hear in tags.

Read deeper memories and issues related to injustices suffered or committed - Same drill as above. Please note that if Justice senses that your character has committed a grievous injustice and has not atoned for it nor been punished, he will get agitated. 'Agitated' can mean that he tries badgering them into atoning, or he tries to kill them, depending on the injustice and circumstances thereof.

Read memories/impressions/thoughts left behind on objects that your character handles - Same drill as above, though I can be vague about what Justice 'reads' because that power is much less defined in his canon. Does he see your character's tragic backstory? Does he get a random vision of your character eating breakfast and nothing else? It's whatever you're comfortable with.

Make your character invisible - This is something he'd only do under dire circumstances, since it takes a ton of effort and it's painful. Plus, he thinks invisibility is underhanded. Let me know if he's okay to do this.

Make your character forget interacting with him - This is not something he's likely to do, and my default is to discuss this with muns before having him do it, but he can make people forget about him. He can't make them forget anything that doesn't have to do with him, and he can't make them forget about hearing other people talk about him, but he can make people forget seeing or talking to him themselves.

Possess your character - He is unlikely to do this even with a willing host, and would never try it with an unwilling one unless he's been terribly corrupted. I would always talk to a mun before having him do this, because not only does it have serious implications for the other character, but it also has serious implications for Justice's personality. His whole character can change very dramatically depending on who he possesses, and I'd like to avoid that unless we have a big fancy plot planned that would probably end with him dead or a demon. Either way, this would automatically have a lot of OOC communication.

Fuck around directly with your character's head, causing vivid hallucinations, blinding and deafening them to certain things, and altering their thoughts - This is something he will never do against your character's will unless he has become a demon, but his 'species' is established as being able to do this. Of course, if there's a plot where he's becoming a demon, I will ask people if they are okay with him doing this to their characters before this happens, even if they have given me permission to do it here. It's the kind of thing that needs a lot of OOC communication. But Justice can also use this ability to ease your character's physical pain or other discomfort, which is something he would always ICly ask permission for. You can let me know if that's okay, too.
