Do not be sorry. You would not have been able to take me home from this place, and I would not have wished to go back so soon. I have not yet seen everything I would like in the mortal realm.

[He may have wanted to, when he was struggling more with what he found out from Riona and Anders, but now that he feels more stable, he wouldn't want to leave when there's still so much to experience. At least, not when he thinks he has the corruption under control.

He notices that she doesn't call Solas her lover again. That eases something in his chest. He tells himself it's because it's good for her to move on after her heartbreak.]

I suppose that's true. I wish that I could be the same comfort to you that I was before, but there's no helping that. My arm is gone and so is the Anchor.

[ Leilani still mourns the loss of her Anchor in some ways; it had been killing her, true, but it was also something that made her special. People followed her because she held it, because she was the one to defeat Corypheus, and now... Now she was just another elf.

Her eyes flick to Justice and then to their hands before she looks away. ]

I shouldn't have mentioned him.

[Justice's eternal frown becomes a little more embedded in his face at that.] You remain a comfort to me, Anchor or no Anchor. Do not grieve that of all things.

[Justice draws his thumb across her knuckles.]

You should mention whatever happens to be on your mind. [It's not like Justice can't already hear most of it, after all.]

I'll grieve it a little. I know you liked having the Anchor there, even if you don't necessarily need it.

[ Leilani likes to be useful, above all else. She's desperate to prove herself as being good enough, as being worth her title and her name, and without the Anchor... She doesn't think she can claim very much.

Tilting her head up, she sighs. ]

I have to fight him. He's going to be on my mind even if I wish he wasn't at times.

I liked having it there, but I like having you more.

[Yes, the Anchor was comforting for him, but if the choice was between having the Anchor and having Leilani there to talk to him and hold him, he would pick Leilani every time.]

You have to fight him? [He doesn't remember hearing this before.]

[ But the question of Solas is ever present and she sighs. ]

He is doing something terrible to the world and I have to stop him. He'll listen or he'll die.

Does Solas work with Fen'Harel? [If so, that puts a whole new spin on her pining after him.]
